victor + valentine ran July 11-16, 2015 at the Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater in Minneapolis, MN.
Dark fairy tales and puppetry converge at love-sick Victor von Valentine’s Cabaret for the Broken-hearted,
loosely inspired by the life and stories of Hans Christian Andersen.
Ice maidens, mermaids, sequins, blood, glitter, red dancing shoes, and a bottomless sea of vodka: a meditation on isolation, creativity, transformation, and why sometimes it seems we only write with broken hearts.

Philip Gates
Sarah Modena
Production Team
Director & Production Designer: David Hanzal
